Coast Park Path Rail Trail

25.05 kmConcrete or paving, sealed and very flat.Kingston Park to Woodville

A shared path along Adelaide's beaches that follows three former tramway and railway corridors. Very flat and sealed, it passes jetties, reserves and foreshore dining areas and suits day or weekend rides. Two of the three old lines were never joined, and sand drift later buried parts of two of them.

Kingston Park to Glenelg (about 8km): north through Brighton and Somerton past Somerton Surf Life Saving Club and the Minda Coastal Park dunes. Glenelg to Grange (about 10km): along the foreshore past West Beach, Henley Beach Jetty and the mouth of the River Torrens; the dune section south of West Beach Boat Ramp is often sandy, and cyclists must walk bikes across the Patawalonga weir at Glenelg. Grange to Woodville (about 6.5km): along the Grange Lakes corridor and beside the operating Grange line, crossing Tapleys Hill Road and Port Road. Signage is poor on this last section.
