Gawler Greenway

20.26 kmMostly sealed shared path; some sections have gravel over old tarmac.Adelaide to Mawson Lakes / Dry Creek

A shared path that follows the Gawler railway line out of Adelaide's city through the inner northern suburbs to Dry Creek, where the Dry Creek Trail continues to Mawson Lakes. It is a city commuter and recreation route beside an operating railway rather than a converted rail corridor.

Leaves the Adelaide city edge and runs alongside the railway through the inner north (Ovingham, Dudley Park, Islington and Kilburn) towards Dry Creek. Some northern sections of the Gawler Greenway have been reported as incomplete or needing repair, so riders may need to use local roads - check before riding. Measured track length is 20.26km.
