Marino Rocks Greenway Rail Trail

16.21 kmSealed, mostly smooth asphalt; some sections on quiet roads with barriers or vegetation separating cyclists from traffic.Adelaide Showground (Keswick) to Marino Rocks

A railside trail that follows the Adelaide to Seaford suburban line, using shared paths and bike-friendly on-road sections. A commuter route during the week and a recreation route on weekends and holidays. It links to the Coast Park, the Mike Turtur Bikeway and the Sturt River Linear Park, and continues south as the Coast to Vines Rail Trail from Marino Rocks station.

Adelaide to the Sturt River Linear Park Bikeway (about 8km): leaves the Parklands, runs south beside the rail line past the Showground and Goodwood stations, through Forestville Reserve and along quiet streets. The South Road and Cross Road intersection is complex - use the pedestrian underpass. Sturt River Linear Park Bikeway to Marino Rocks (about 8km): crosses near Oaklands Park, then Brighton Road and mostly on-street bike lanes through Brighton to Marino Rocks station. Cafes along Jetty Road, Brighton. The Brighton Road crossing has a two-stage light sequence that can be tricky when a train passes. Roadworks and detours were reported in 2026, with underpass upgrades where the trail meets the Mike Turtur Bikeway at Forestville.
