Rokeby to Neerim Railside Trail

Follows part of the former Warragul to Noojee railway, which carried timber and passengers, through Crossover Regional Park, climbing to Neerim with views over farmland and Tarago Reservoir. Maintained by Baw Baw Shire Council and Parks Victoria.

Rokeby to Crossover (3.8km): begins at the trail hub at the end of Lavinia Street, with grades up to 1 in 40, and ends at the heritage-listed Crossover Trestle Bridge. Crossover to Neerim (12km): starts at the trail hub at the end of Bridge Road, mostly off the railway corridor along road reserves, with some sealed road. It passes through Neerim South and Apex Lookout and ends at Elton Road, Neerim. Toilets at the Rokeby recreation reserve hall. Neerim South has shops, cafes, toilets and accommodation. Reviewers report some wet areas and rough gravel on the Crossover to Neerim section, despite the 2024-25 upgrade.
