Perth - Fremantle Principal Shared Path

A sealed, dual-use urban path beside the Fremantle railway line through Perth's western suburbs, passing cafes, shopping areas and beachside suburbs, with ocean views near Mosman Park and North Fremantle. The GPX continues beyond Fremantle to South Beach.

Yagan Square to Subiaco (3.7km): west along Wellington Street past Perth Arena, City West and West Leederville. Subiaco to Claremont (5.8km): through Subi Centro, past Daglish, Shenton Park, Karrakatta and Loch Street. Claremont to North Fremantle (7.0km): past Swanbourne and Cottesloe (a connector along Forrest Street leads to Cottesloe Beach). North Fremantle to Fremantle (2.9km): along Pearse Street, crossing busy Tydeman Road with care. Bike hire: About Bike Hire (08 9221 2665), about 5 minutes' ride from Perth Central Station, and Cycle Centre Perth (08 9325 1176), 2-3 blocks from the path. Works for the Swan River Crossings project will extend the path from North Fremantle Station to the river.
